Hehe. You're asking me this after I analyzed "To Sir With Ed" in a Freudian analysis paper for an academic writing class. I could talk about this for HOURS, but anyone I try to explain this to thinks I'm a total whack-job.

Depending on how you look at it, several characters scream out "SEX PLEASE."

-Ed is a WALKING FREUD MACHINE. The 'id' for certain.
-Edd has a self-suppression and internally BEGS to be released.
-Eddy definitely wants some, but his insecurity and his duel fears of intimacy and abondonment is really holding him back.
-Kevin has the 'machismo' syndrome we ALL know about, plus the bike fixation could easily translate to it.
-Jonny has the fixation too, a need for companionship, maybe a little more intimitely than he leads on. He's a little hard to judge on.
-Lee and Marie are CERTAINLY not subtle about it.

However...

-May seems a little too naive to want it as much as her sisters.
-Nazz is too assertive as a female and is quite self-absorbed.
-Both Sarah and Jimmy are absorbed in their play... but there MAY be a desire between the two of them only.
-Rolf is too wrapped up in his family traditions and tasks to worry about sex.

This is great, I love psychology. (well, It was my major for two years after all...)

I like the idea that Ed Edd and Eddy are the Id, Ego and Super Ego. Ed = Id, Eddy = Ego, Edd = Super Ego. Interesting!

PLEASE NOTE: This is all just conjecture. I'm not trying to argue with anyone to prove that I'm right, but I'd like to have my say nonetheless. If anything, I'd welcome more thoughts to this... Sex is interesting because people aren't supposed to talk about it, but it's nothing people should be afraid to think or talk about; it's human; it's animalistic; it's everything alive...

Ed- I have no idea why people think he's naive. Because he thinks babies comes from storks? As he grows up and watches more and more movies, Im sure he's going to witness many sex (or heavy petting make out) scenes. Plus, I mean, he does hang around Eddy who has all those magazines and Edd who knows muchness. I don't think he'd be a sex "addict", per say, but it's not like he'd never think about it. He's always struck me as someone who had a mild form of autism called Aspergers. In fact, one of my [ex]boyfriends has the syndrome and he was crazy hanky panky.... with himself only before he met me (and when we were together, he'd often go off by himself when I was exhausted)

Edd - I agree on this point. I bet he has a million creative ideas for sex, but he might be too shy to ask for them. Which means he'd probably blow up in a fountain of frustrated tears. At some point when he realizes that his parent's sticky notes "don't touch yourself" and "don't let other touch you either" can't stop him, he still might be relatively reserved because that's just who he is. He might be too scared to do anything he wants just becuase he’s afraid of abandonment / rejection. But then again, even reserved people like me still get crazy sometimes. Anyway, I think the answer to being a sex addict would be a "no."

Eddy - I agree, again. He has a lot of vanity issues that probably compensate for a poor internal self image that derives from trying too hard to be like his older brother who tried to be like their father (who's a massive man!), who's so manly that he is afraid that Eddy might grow up to be a figure skater - at least, compared to the idea of what a "real" man is, which means that Eddy always falls short of being a "man". He might be as horny as a goat in the springtime, but he would hold back because he's intimidated by his ideal, even if who's he's with doesn't care about Eddy's "ideal". To prove my point, remember when all three of the Eds go swimming in really tight panties? And how about the episode where he wants to be a scout and gets naked just to prove he is a man after all? Also recall that Eddy has leopard skin undies and high heeled shoes in his closet. So as far as sex goes, I'd imagine that because of his ideal being what it is, that he might not be an "addict" but he might try to have more sex than he really wants just t try to prove to himself that he's The Man.

Kevin - I agree. I don't think he'd be an addict though, but he's obviously interested in Nazz.

Jonny - I have no idea. He's a tree hugging artist with a creepy inner voice, so whatever he turns out to be as an adult I wouldn't be surprised.

Lee and Marie- Lee always quoting her mother ("mom says..."), who probably had all three girls from different men (the different last names on the robes, and some small comments here and there suggest it). Both Lee and Marie are bossy, angry and mean, but I think with Lee it would just stay that way. With Marie I dunno, could be, she does strike me as more femme fetal than any of the other girls.

May - Again, I don't think the word "naive" works here, but she is stupid. But that doesn't mean much when it comes to sex. However I have no answer to the question for her, so anyone's guess is as good as mine.

Nazz - I actually don't see her being very self absorbed. In fact, she is always hanging on someone, grabbing people's hands and making them follow her somewhere, or even just following someone else around doing what they want her to do. She says Hi to everyone, and is even nice to the Eds. She's kind of nice but overall she has no personality, and I think it would stay that way with her in bed. Give and take, whatever works, when the mood is right, that's all.

Sarah and Jimmy - Personally, I doubt it. Not addicts, but maybe really kinky.

Rolf - I completely disagree with you here, I think even if Rolf had a crazy "mating ritual" he'd go full throttle at it. He's the manliest of men - he's bossy, even always telling Kevin what to do (and Kevin does it!), and doing whatever he wants without worrying in the least about trying to fit in and be a normal American kid. He doesn't have the self deprecation that Ed, Edd, Eddy, Jimmy, Sarah, and even Kevin and the Kanker girls all have. He's nice sometimes (seeing as how he's rather neutral to the Eds) so I don't think he'd ever rape anyone, but he's fairly violent (well, ok, they all are) and he has a lot of physical strength, huge muscles, and loads of sexy back hair. I think that kind of attitude would cary over to the sack, or anywhere else he felt like it, with whom ever he felt like it, he wouldn't hold back for anyone or for anything. Again, I don't know about being an "addict" but I think he'd have a lot more sexual vitality than anyone else.

...the end.

I wonder if the person who originally wrote the question will even read this... Lol.
