Well I gotta say, I'm in loveeeee with this anime at the moment! XD Any of you guys heard of it?

(Lalidi is not included, I KNOW YOU LIKE THIS ANIME LALIDI! XD)

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni? HECK YES! 8D It's my favorite anime ever! At first, I had to get used to the series starting over every five episodes, but MAN I just love it! It's really twisted! What are you doing watching that!? :O

LOL! Blame Lalidi! D: AND KAT! They dragged me into it. D: Kat showed me an AMV of it and I showed it too Lali, a few weeks later, Lali gives me the series and KABOOM! I love it. D: XD

Ok, I didn't get this until a commenter explained it to me.

Keiichi is a guy who just moved into Hiroshima and has already made some friends. But these friends are accused of being part of something psychopathic every 4-5 episodes. (Which is why it's so violent, you really learn about what's causing the violence in the second season) And in every amount of those episodes, you learn about the CottonBall Festival where it's rumored that every year, someone dies and someone disappears as a sacrifice to Oroshima (I think that's his name...haven't gotten back to this anime in a bit xD) which is all a part of this curse. (Like I said, you learn about it more in season 2) It's a strange series, but amusing with a really good storyline as you follow along ^_^

I just saw the first two episodes of the series a few weeks ago.
It's an awesome anime!
However...I saw the "fingernail pulling scene" and it kind of creeped me out. XD
Still, it's entertaining. It even has comedy from time to time!

I feel sorry for Shion for getting her nails...erm...*coughrippedoffcough*
Higurashi has some pretty gruesome scenes throughout the whole show...
which is *kind of* why I watch it. XD

I dunno. The fact that the anime/manga is dominated by girls with only one main guy is a turn off. :U But then again, I did watch Azumanga Daioh w/o a problem...

One question: Do any of the girls of antennae? =3
