Yes i like Naruto...DON'T HIT ME!! its actually a pretty good show,i've been reading through the manga in American Shonen Jump for a while too,i'm up to where they just met Sai(Although i'm aware of where the actual comic is)

I stopped paying attention for a while but I started reading the manga again online.
I just get tired of the people who obsess about it and act like retards (narutards actually-and the person who has so dubbed them is a massive otaku. Its scary) and run around screaming ninja attacks.

While the storyline is certainly flawed, the character's backstory gets bland after a while (Orphans, Orphans, Orphans), the one thing that's absolutely pure awesome are the wide array of abbilities. This isn't just a; 'I hav liek more pwr th3n u, so I pwn u ass!' series like dragonball Z.
My favorites are still Gaara'ssand based techniques, Zabuza's silent killing, and Deidara's clay bombs.

-It got really dull, real quick.
-By all technical standards, NONE of those people qualify as an actaul 'ninja.' They would've eliminated this flaw with a simple name change.
-I cannot connect with any of the characters, except for Rock Lee, who I have a lot of respect for his sheer perserverence.
-The manga's more interesting, but the art style's way too busy on the eyes. Makes me dizzy.
-My own brother lost interest in the series (and he gets overly obsessed with EVERYTHING).
-Even their abridged series isn't too great, especially if you put it next to Yu-gi-oh TAS.
-The rabid fangirls ruin it for me. I'm getting really, REALLY tired of seeing it all over dA.
And that's my reasoning behind not caring much for it. I don't think it should crawl in a pit and die; I know for a fact it was great before it came to the US. But I AM quite sick of hearing about it.

I've always thought that the whole of Part 1 was good. But I till find the 'Land of Waves' arc to be the best.
